Congratulations Man City!

Manchester City answered today why football is so beautiful. In 2 minutes during the aggregate the Citizens scored twice in moments when pressure and desperation were other players in the match. Queens Park Rangers made a wonderful game, its manager, Mark Hughes, planned a smart strategy that almost achieves the victory from the Etihad Stadium; nevertheless it was his only option due to QPR had been threatened to be relegated.

Man City deserved wins the league; it was the team which played the best football during the season and was at the first position throughout 20 matches. But during the season, the team had been fought against internal problems. At the beginning was the row between Carlos Tevez and its manager Roberto Mancini; also many scandals of Mario Balotelli with alcohol, parties and even inside the pitch, with more than 1 red card. Anyway the Citizens could overcome all these difficulties and made a spectacular performance at the final match.

An inspired Sergio Aguero helped the dream comes true, scoring at the 94th minute over the aggregate after a wonderful assist by Balotelli.

Unfortunately the bad moment of the game came when Joey Barton was sent off because an elbowing on Tevez and then kicking Aguero’s legs. Barton was so uncontrolled and it was a shame because QPR lost defensive power in the midfield. Curiously, QPR scored the goal which sent to a “coma” all the citizen supporters. For sure the bad move from Barton will cost a big suspension and charge.

Meanwhile Manchester United was hopeful to win the league when the match against Sunderland was finished. But Aguero’s goal killed all possibility of celebration and happy faces turned to upset.

Congratulations Man City! You reminded us today that football is so beautiful.
